The following is in effect for 24 months. 

 

Our goal, as mentioned before, with Boerboels is to continue to compliment the work gone into the breed so far, with those that we are fortunate enough to be working with.

 

We must say we are very impressed with the Boerboel.   For their size and structure, this breed seems to be overall healthy and athletic.  Our goal is to keep it that way.  Thus, you will find we are very selective in the people we decide to work with concerning our dogs.

 

 

Breed Quality

As far as breed quality goes, we are not looking at selling any breeding dogs at this time.  Honestly, we would like to establish ourselves here first as a kennel that provides you with top quality Boerboels.

If we were to sell breeding dogs, they would be prolapse-free, hips that are better than 2:2 in the South African method, moderate HD/DJD or worse.  Including a dog Penn-hip score outside of .75 in either hip and moderate DJD.

Guaranteed to score above 80% with S.A.B.T.  at 18 months of age, against problematic eye entropion, extropion(needing corrective surgery).  

These guarantees only apply where healthy feeding and exercise is involved with your Boerboel.

 Top Quality Companion with Spay / Neuter Agreement

All of our dogs come with hip/elbow guarantees for the first 12 months of life. We also guarantee against problematic eye entopion or ectropion and that they will score above 80% with the SABT at 18 months of age. We require that they be spayed or neutered by 12 months of age. Anyone who breaks the contract and breeds a companion dog is required to give us $1500 as a breeding fee. 

Replacement

If you are due a replacement, and are not able to receive one, you will be refunded half the price if the dog, unless otherwise agreed upon.

 Advice

Our advice to you would be that you be prepared to build some kind of relationship with whomever you decide to associate with as far as boerboels are concerned, whenever and wherever possible.  We have learned that breeders wishing to sell you a dog with very little or no support offered after that, may not be the most suitable people to work with. Honesty and integrity are foundational for us in all aspects of life here.
