The following is in effect for 24 months. 

 

Our goal, as mentioned before, with Boerboels is to continue to complement the work gone into the breed so far, with those that we are fortunate enough to be working with.

 

We must say we are very impressed with the Boerboel.   For their size and structure, this breed seems to be overall healthy and athletic.  Our goal is to keep it that way.  Thus, you will find we are very selective in the people we decide to work with concerning our dogs.

 

Yes, we have had dealings, locally, with large breed dog “breeder’s” in the past, and have had very ”interesting” experiences.  We can discuss that in person, but in the end led us to look farther outside our little area and group of breeders for a breed we felt would be worthy investing in and just as importantly, somebody worth working with.

 

Breed Quality

As far as breed quality goes, we are not looking at selling any breeding dogs at this time.  Honestly, we would like to establish ourselves here fisrt as a kennel that provides you with top quality Boerboels.

If we did, they would be prolapse-free, hips that are better than 2:2 in the South African method, moderate HD/DJD or worse.  Including a dog Penn-hip score outside of .75 in either hip and moderat DJD.

Guaranteed to score above 80% with S.A.B.T.  at 18 months of age, against problematic eye entropion, extropion(needing corrective surgery).  

These gaurantees only apply where healthy feeding and exercise is involved with your Boerboel.

 Top Quality - Spay / Neuter Agreement

Guarantees with breeding dogs are the same in Top quality dogs accept for the following differences.  Dogs must be spayed or neutered by the age of one.Hip warranty is the same as breed quality.  Anyone that does not adhere to these simple guidelines will suffer loss of their dog, and receive legal action.

 Family Pet

 These dogs will be healthy and no visible defects, any possible cosmetic issues would not be related to the health of the dog.    

Replacement

If you are due a replacement, and are not able to receive one, you will be refunded half the price if the dog, unless otherwise agreed upon.

 Advice

Our advice to you would be that you be prepared to build some kind of relationship with whomever you decide to associate with as far as boerboels are concerned, whenever and wherever possible.  We have learned that breeders wishing to sell you a dog with very little or no support offered after that, may not be the most suitable people to work with. Honesty and integrity are foundational for us in all aspects of life here.
